This Blog is intended as a complementary tool for the class. We will post links, videos and other materials that have been gone through in the class or that are interesting for the contents we are dealing with. Therefore, it is not an institutional Blog of the school, but only one more aid for teaching and learnig. Enjoy it!

Pronounciation of "alveoli"
Remember we were not quite sure about the pronounciation of the word "alveoli"? Even in the video of the respiratory system two different pronounciations of the word are used. Well, I have consulted an English Pronouncing Dictionary and both ways are correct. It seems, though, that /ælvi'ǝʊli:/ is less common

The Reproductive System
Here you have a video about fertilisation. Interesting information starts on minute 00:25. However, don't worry if you miss some words. The images are clear enough to illustrate what we talked about today in the class.

Carnival
Let's warm up for carnival. Here's one video about how to properly drape a Saree, a typical indian costume. Note the indian accent they have when they speak English!
Can you find more videos about other typical indian costumes? Please, make your suggestions! I'll be glad to publish any comment 😀

Descalzos, Documental de los niños Triquis de México
Here you are link to the documentary film "Descalzos". This was just a way to reflect on how easy our life is compared to the huge effort that children in other parts of the world have to do to achieve their aims, get opportunities and reach their dreams. Enjoy it!
Mandalas
This is one of your wishes comming true! The two videos of how to draw Mandalas that we watched in the class.
And also a little explanation of the meaning of Mandalas and what they are used for. And two different ways of applying Mandalas: images and using our bodies.
